Breaking: 2020-2021 NBA Season set to begin in January!
NBA Commissioner Adam Silver has done a fine job since he took over for David Stern and maneuvering through this pandemic was the latest example. The NBA is run like a well oiled machine and other sports leagues wish they had Adam Silver has their commissioner. As the current playoffs is down to the final four, news has dropped about next season.
Silver's best guess is the season starts in January at the earliest, and it will be played at home arenas, and get this....with fans in the stands!
Not exactly sure how that's going to work, as some cities, like Toronto for example are no where close to allowing this.
The season would basically run from January to July, and one thing to keep an eye on is the Olympics, which are slated to start July 23, 2021.
Let's hope everything goes as planned and we can have all of the nice things.
