Warriors and Magic have been talking trade
According to the Athletic's Anthony Slater the Golden State Warriors and Orlando Magic talked trade back a few weeks ago and it appears the chatter has continued. Trade talks are circled around Magic forward Aaron Gordon.
This is the second time in a week Gordon's name has surfaced as we reported last week from Forbes, that Gordon was on his way out of Orlando.
The biggest hurdle with this deal is the money, as the Warriors have a decent package to offer considering they can throw in the #2 overall pick and Eric Paschall, they would still need more to make the money right.
Gordon is seen as the perfect slashing forward who can rebound for the Warriors and if they someone manage to keep everyone in the trade, a starting five of Curry, Thompson, Wiggins, Gordon and Green would be one of the best in the league.
They may end up with matchup problems against teams who have elite Bigs, but most of the league is in that position anyways. What they would have is a team that's a walking mismatch and they would have teams worrying about them and not the other way around.
Keep an eye on these two teams as talks continue closer to the Draft in a few weeks.
