Here's The Best Stat From The NBA Playoffs
The NBA wrapped up the 'bubble playoffs' in Orlando on Sunday evening, as the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Miami Heat in game six of the NBA Finals. It put a bow on the season for the league, and while everyone may be concentrating on the GOAT debate, now that LeBron James has won his fourth championship, the sole focus should be on this one statistic.
The NBA had ZERO positive Covid-19 tests while operating in the Bubble.
This is an amazing feat for what was such a fluid situation from start to finish. This is something commissioner, Adam Silver should hang his hat on when he retires, it's an all-time feat for the league, and shows to the medical teams involved, basketball can go on in a pandemic.
Is it ideal? No. But, it is possible to operate safely.
Thank you to the hotel staff, the medical staff, the teams' operations staff, and to anyone else who had a hand in keeping the Bubble safe.
It's Disney's best story yet.
