Rajon Rondo Has Opted-Out of His Contract
Los Angeles Lakers point-guard, Rajon Rondo has opted out of the final year of his contract, making him an unrestricted free agent. Fresh off another championship, Rondo could see this as an opportunity to cash-in on his final multi-year contract before he hangs up the sneakers.

While we have many questions about what his son is drinking in the photo, one answer we know for sure is the Lakers will have some interest in bringing back the veteran floor general. LeBron James and company love having Rondo in the fold and his leadership skills were on full display throughout the entire playoffs.
Where Rondo ends up, is really anyone's guess at this point, as team's will start preparing their pitch's for him to join their squad. What we do know is Rondo is a free-agent and he's interested in sticking around the NBA for a long-time, even if it means he's behind the bench and not running the point.
