Stan Van Gundy Named Head Coach of New Orleans Pelicans
Stan Van Gundy is set to take the reigns of an up-and-coming team loaded with talent.
ESPN reporting with @_andrew_lopez: Stan Van Gundy has agreed to a deal to become the next coach of the New Orleans Pelicans.

Van Gundy has previously been Head Coach of the Miami Heat, Orlando Magic & Detroit Pistons and has compiled an impressive record of 523-384 (.577%). This includes the 2008-09 season when he guided the Magic to the NBA Finals, where they fell to the Kobe Bryant-led LA Lakers.
It's believed that Van Gundy has agreed to a 4-year deal, with terms yet to be disclosed.

Hopefully Van Gundy can impart some of his vast basketball knowledge, and incredible handles, on the young Pelicans to the tune of a playoff berth.
