The Myles Turner Trade Rumors Are Heating Up!
Myles Turner is one of the best big-men in the league, who finds himself on an Indiana Pacers team that is at a crossroads. The team knows it's going to lose shooting guard, Victor Oladipo, so there's a ton of potential the team totally guts itself and hits the 'rebuild' button. Enter the Golden State Warriors.
According to Jonathan Wasserman of the Bleacher Report, he could see the Warriors, Hawks and Pacers pulling off a blockbuster three-way deal that would look like so:
Golden State Warriors: Myles Turner, No. 6,
Atlanta Hawks receive: Andrew Wiggins, 2021 Minnesota Timberwolves first-round pick (top-three-protected),
Indiana Pacers receive: No. 2 pick
From all accounts Warriors coach, Steve Kerr loves Andrew Wiggins and the team would much rather keep him than deal him away after one season where Wiggins didn't even get to run with the whole squad. However, the team is desperate for a big man, and if they can stay in the top-10 of the draft and acquire a substantial big, then perhaps the team explores this deal.
