BREAKING: Toronto Raptors to Start Season in Tampa Bay
The Toronto Raptors are going to be known as the 'Tampa Bay Raptors' to start the 2020-21 NBA season. Ok, not quite, but the team will be playing their 'home' games in Tampa after they were unable to reach an agreement with the Canadian government regarding health protocols to safely operate.

We first brought you the idea of Tampa Bay last week, and sure enough it's come to fruition.
The issues lie with the constant up-tick in Covid-19 cases across Canada and the US, and the government doesn't feel safe bringing in multiple teams on a weekly basis to play basketball.
The Toronto Blue Jays baseball team had to play their home games in Buffalo, New York and the only reason the NHL could operate in Canada was the fact they had two bubbles set up in Edmonton and Toronto.
The Raptors were linked to Kansas City, Nashville and Lexington but it looks like it's the Sunshine State that will play host to the Dino's next season.
