Detroit Pistons Make a Free-Agent Splash
The NBA's free agency began at 6pm Friday and the Detroit Pistons didn't waste any time, signing center Mason Plumlee to a three-year deal worth $25 million. The team has also signed center Jahil Okafor to a two-year pact.

The 30-year-old Plumlee spent the last four seasons with the Denver Nuggets. The 6'11 big man averaged 7.2 points and 5.2 rebounds per game last year and will look to expand on those numbers with a bigger role in Motown.
Some considered this offseason a tough market for centers, turns out that's not the case at all.
