Evan Turner Returning to the Boston Celtics as a Coach
Evan Turner is returning to the Boston Celtics, however this time around it will be as an assistant coach. Turner, who last played for the Celtics from 2014-2016 has decided his playing days are well behind him and he's going to turn his attention to player development in Boston.
10-year NBA veteran Evan Turner is finalizing a deal to join the Boston Celtics as an assistant coach, sources tell @TheAthleticNBA @Stadium. Turner is expected to focus on player development.

Last season Turner finished the year in Minnesota with the Timberwolves after being traded from the Atlanta Hawks.
Turner finishes his playing career with 705 games played, 9.7 points per game, 4.6 rebounds and 3.5 assists. Besides the T-Wolves, Hawks and Celtics, Turner also played in Philadelphia and Portland during his career.
