DeRozan who is from Compton, would be going home and be the happiest player in the NBA, as he idolized the Lakers and Kobe Bryant as a kid.
Green would be heading back to familiar grounds and the acquisition of Kuzma would give the Spurs someone to add to their young core. Look for the Spurs to hit the rebuild button as there's multiple veterans on their roster that are available via trade.
DeRozan is due a $27.7 million once he opts-in, and meanwhile Green and Kuzma are due $19 million. 'Deebo' registered a career-best 53.5% effective field goal percentage while averaging 22.1 points, 5.6 assists, and 5.5 rebounds per game.
He's hoping his next shot comes wearing yellow and purple.
