New York Knicks and Minnesota Timberwolves Complete a Trade
The Minnesota Timberwolves and New York Knicks have agreed to a deal that sees power forward/center Ed Davis heading to Minny in exchange for Omari Spellman, Jacob Evans and a second-round pick.
Davis was just recently acquired by New York via the Utah Jazz. The Knicks had no intentions of keeping him and now have turned him into some more future assets.
Davis brings Minnesota another capable big man who can eat minutes for the team off the bench. His rebounding skills and help-side defense should fit in perfectly for the Timberwolves and some of their current players love the move.
One person who will be very happy with the Wolves acquisition of Ed Davis: D'Angelo Russell.

The two played together in Brooklyn. Davis is very highly thought of as a teammate.
Davis has averaged 6.3 points and 6.6. rebounds per game in his career, and the 6'9 southpaw will be joining his 8th team in Minnesota.
