Report: John Wall Pissed Off With Latest Trade Rumors

We brought you the trade rumors surrounding John Wall of the Washington Wizards and Russell Westbrook of the Houston Rockets last week, and the news caught many off-guard including Wall himself. Turns out the Wizards point-guard was not happy hearing his name come up one bit.

David Aldridge of The Athletic had this to report on Wall's feelings about the whole thing:

It was no surprise Wall wanted out. It just became public, with our Shams Charania’s reporting Friday night. What did people think; Wall came back to town this week full of ‘let’s go, team!’ after hearing that the Wizards were talking to Houston about moving him for Westbrook? No, he was pissed. Nor was he happy when he heard fairly unequivocally that the Wizards were now Beal’s team. (Look, pro athletes are physical gods, but many — hell, most — are as insecure emotionally as you and me).

Yikes...trouble in paradise in Washington.

Wall has battled injuries the past few seasons and ended up missing all of last year with an Achilles injury. The ownership group has been adamant to shut down any Bradley Beal trade rumors, but we have yet to see anything about not dealing John Wall.
