Sign-And-Trade Offers On The Way For Davis Bertans
Davis Bertans of the Washington Wizards happens to be one of the purest shooters in the NBA, who has been flying under the radar for a couple of years. However, that's not the case anymore and teams around the league are catching on, so much so multiple teams are trying to acquire Bertans.
According to Chase Hughes of NBC, interested teams without cap space are preparing offers to make a sign-and-trade deal with the Wizards.
Hughes goes on to mention the Phoenix Suns, New York Knicks and Atlanta Hawks are all interested in the stretch-big, who finished last season averaging 15.4 points per game and shooting 42% from three. Bertans, 6'10, is a match up problem who can help any team stretch the floor and provide complimentary scoring as a club's 3rd option.
Bertans was one of the few players who decided to opt-out of the Bubble to preserve his free-agent value. Let's see if it pays off for him.
