Swingman Nicolas Batum is on the Move
The Charlotte Hornets are bringing in small forward Gordon Hayward, who signed a mega four-year contract worth $120 million and in order to be able to pay Hayward, the team is waiving swingman, Nicolas Batum.
Batum, who picked up his player-option for just over $27 million for this upcoming season will now find himself without a team. According to his agent, it won't be long before Batum signs with someone, as the interest has been pouring in since the news surfaced he would be getting waived.

The other interested teams include the Toronto Raptors, Milwaukee Bucks, Brooklyn Nets, Utah Jazz and Los Angeles Clippers, this according to Batum's agent.
Last year was a dismal year for Batum and his worst season as a pro. The native of France averaged 3.6 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game. Known for his wing-span and the ability to knock down the open look, Batum will look to rebound next season with a change of scenery.
