Victor Oladipo Fully Commits to the Pacers
Victor Oladipo has heard his name in the news for all the wrong reasons lately and he's trying to do what he can to get ahead of the ongoing reports. Word was he wanted out of Indiana, with some sources even saying he was begging players on Miami, Toronto and other teams last season during games to trade for him.
Oladipo recently spoke with Shams Charania of The Athletic to try and clear the air:
I know there have been people saying that I have asked players to trade for me. That's just not true, period. I love my teammates, I cherish the state of Indiana, and I'm focused on leading this franchise to a title.
This comes after this report dropped earlier this week:
Victor Oladipo reportedly asked other teams "Can I come play with y'all?" in front of his Pacers teammates

Oladipo has since spoken with Pacers management and their new head coach, Nate Bjorkgren to clear the air and notified them he's committed to winning in Indiana.
The shooting-guard is coming off a major injury and ended up only playing in 19 games last season, averaging 14.5 points per game.
Expect to see Oladipo hovering around the 22 point per game mark, and it appears his next game will indeed be as an Indiana Pacer.
