Warriors and Bulls Talking Draft Day Trade
The NBA Draft goes Wednesday night and it's expected to be a night full of activity as GM's around the league try and upgrade their teams. It looks like we won't have to wait long, as a report has surfaced from The Ringer's Kevin O'Connor stating the Golden State Warriors and the Chicago Bulls are discussing a deal.
The trade would see the Warriors move the #2 overall pick to the Bulls in exchange for Wendell Carter Jr and the #4 overall selection.
The Bulls have big man James Wiseman on their radar and think he will be gone by the time they are on the clock at four, and by all accounts that should be the case.
In Carter Jr the Warriors would be landing a productive young asset who was once a seventh overall selection in 2018. He averaged 10.8 points, 8.2 boards, and 1.1 blocks per game so far in his career.
Looks like the trade winds are starting to blow and it's fitting the first trade from the draft could come from the Windy City.
