Warriors Owner Spending $30 Million To Have Fans Attend Home Games
The Golden State Warriors fans have always been one of the most loyal fanbases in the NBA and this year their loyalty is going to pay off, at least for a few of them.
Warriors owner Joe Lacob has committed to spending $30 million dollars to allow fans into home games next season. The health protocols in place will be intense but the team prefers the extra work over silence during games.
The Chase Center would be allowed to be half full with fans, the employees and players would undergo rapid testing each and every day. Masks would be required and the fans would be spaced out accordingly to maintain physical distancing. The arena would undergo a slight makeover to become more safe and everyone needed to be trained on the health protocol, would be.
As far as the team goes, the Warriors are expected to have a big bounce back year next season. the team is getting healthy and management holds a wild card with the #2 overall pick at the Draft.
It's a good time to be a Warriors fan.
