Huge Blow Dealt to the Minnesota Timberwolves
The Minnesota Timberwolves are going to be without all-star Karl-Anthony Towns, as the center has suffered a wrist injury that will keep him out of action for awhile.
Towns was knocked out of the air and onto the ground, landing on his left hand, late in the Timberwolves' victory over Utah on Saturday night. It appears Towns' wrist won't require surgery, however his wrist is dislocated and he's going to be evaluated on a weekly basis. Expect Towns to miss a number of games, but the team is hoping it's weeks and not months.Karl-Anthony Towns on his wrist;

“I'm going to just stay positive, stay positive. It's only right I hurt my wrist in 2020. Sh*t just goes sideways for me all the time. Keep it positive."
KAT doesn’t deserve this. Prayers up. 🙏

The lost to the Lakers on Sunday night, in their first game without Towns. The big-man has been instrumental for the club, averaging 22.6 points, 11.5 rebounds and five assists in two games this season.
It's been a rough year for Towns who lost his mother along with six other family members to COVID-19. We wish him nothing but a speedy recovery, health and wellness.
