Joakim Noah Cut by the Clippers, Set to Retire
According to Joakim Noah's Agent, the Los Angeles Clippers have waived the power forward, which could ultimately end his playing career.
Clippers are waiving center Joakim Noah -- and his agent, Bill Duffy of @BDA_Sports, tells ESPN that Noah is “likely headed toward retirement.” One of his era’s most ferocious competitors, Noah played 13 seasons, made two All-Star games and was a 3-time All-Defensive team choice.

Last season the 35-year-old managed to appear in five games, averaging 2.8 points and 3.2 rebounds, shooting 50% from the field. His best season came in 2013-14 for the Chicago Bulls when he averaged 12.6 points, 11.3 rebounds, 5.4 assists 1.2 steals and 1.5 blocks per game. Noah filled up the stat sheet that season and won Defensive Player of the Year. He brought it every single night and you wouldn't find anyone on the court working harder than him.
Bill Duffy on Noah: “What an illustrious career for Joakim, starting with two national titles at the University of Florida, to becoming an NBA Defensive Player of the Year and ultimately evolving into one of the most passionate, spirited players to ever come through our sport..." https://t.co/w0t8Gkbghv
