Kyrie Irving Fined $25,000, Proceeds to Call Media 'Pawns'
Kyrie Irving is off to a blazing start this NBA season as the Brooklyn Nets point guard has been fined $25,000 for skipping his media availability. Irving then posted on his social's a response to the fine, where he essentially called media a bunch of pawns he has no time for.

All they wanted to do was ask what he's looking forward to this season and how prepared he feels coming into a new year with a new head coach. Seems like priorities come down to perspective.
Imagine telling your employer you don't want to do part of your job because it's under you. Seems a bit much, no?
Without media coverage there's no massive TV deal, which results into the NBA players salaries being higher than any other major sport.
