LaVar Ball Sounds Off on the Detroit Pistons
LiAngelo 'Gelo' Ball, the middle brother of the three Ball brothers was cut by the Detroit Pistons and his Pops, LaVar, surprisingly had something to say and he found somebody to listen.

“The people in Detroit are great. I love the fans, but the franchise over there is raggedy as hell. They don't know a good player. I was giving them a lottery pick for free!”

The Pistons are currently in the middle of taking a flyer on Jerami Grant and Delon Wright. Head coach, Dwane Casey is familiar with Wright from their Toronto Raptors' years.
Meanwhile Grant is coming in from the Denver Nuggets where he used the playoff bubble to propel himself up the charts. Grant was one of the best free-agents on the market this past offseason. Adding Gelo to that mix of uncertainty doesn't appear to be something the Pistons are interested in doing. They saw enough in practice.
Back to LaVar, he thinks the Pistons are terrible with or without their son. They haven't done much lately, the Pistons are a wildcard team in the East next season.
For Gelo, he can now cross the Pistons off his list. Back to the drawing board at the Ball residence.
