Not much of a surprise to see the Lakers and the Celtics at the top of the list, however, a touch surprising seeing the Pelicans and Warriors tied for second. Zion Williamson and Stephen Curry certainly tie into the decision making.
The Heat getting snubbed is a bit of a shock. They'll use it as motivation so I assume the players won't care one bit, but still, if the Heat were healthy they could have given the Lakers a better run and probably deserve more exposure next season.
Sucks for Russell Westbrook who goes from the spotlight in the west, to not even a sniff of coverage. Good thing this is just for the first-half schedule, and perhaps this will add a touch of motivation for Westbrook and his new squad.
