Last season as a member of the Toronto Raptors, 'RHJ' was hit or miss and a touch inconsistent over his 60 appearances. It took him awhile to find a role on the team, but at about the half way point of the season is when Raptors coach Nick Nurse started to trust Hollis-Jefferson to play some defense.
Hollis-Jefferson finished the year averaging seven points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game. At 25, the swingman can still develop and at this point has already become a versatile defender.
Before his pit stop in Toronto, RHJ spent four seasons with the Brooklyn Nets after getting drafted 23rd overall in 2015. He brings the Timberwolves some energy off their bench and a lockdown defender which could help mentor first overall pick Anthony Edwards.
Toronto that year with you guys was unforgettable!!! North side i love y’all. Thank you to everyone in the organization from Larry to the janitors! And to the fans never forget HustleManChap ❤️✌🏾

D’Angelo Russell gets another one of his guys in Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, whom he often called the “heart and soul” of that 2018-2019 Nets team.
