From a draft project to a potential breakout star this season, Anunoby has developed his game and gotten better each and every year. From his ability to guard all five positions, to working on his offensive game, the Raptors couldn't be more thrilled to get his pen to paper on this contract.
Raptors general manager, Bobby Webster had this to say in a press release on the deal:
OG is the epitome of the skilled, powerful, determined player we want in our organization long-term. Remember, he doesn’t shoot to miss. We’re really pleased that OG will be with us for seasons to come. The 23-year-old enjoyed a career season in 2019-20, appearing in 69 regular season games and averaging 10.6 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game.

If that’s the long-term future in a nutshell, I’m sold.
Undrafted, 23rd, and 27th overall pick. Epic value.
