Video: Mavericks Hand the Clippers Historic Loss
The Dallas Mavericks jumped out to an early lead on the Los Angeles Clippers and saying they didn't look back from there would be a huge understatement. The Mavericks were up 77-27 at halftime and the game finished 124-73 to hand the Clippers their worst loss in franchise history.
Mavs star, Luka Doncic scored 24 points, meanwhile Josh Richardson added 21, and Tim Hardaway Jr chipped in with 18. The Clippers were without Kawhi Leonard who was elbowed in the face, and left a bloody mess by his teammate, Serge Ibaka their last time out, and Paul George's 15 points just wasn't enough to keep the Clippers in it.
The Clippers used Christmas as their excuse for their sluggish game and maybe their fanbase can let this one slide.
Paul George said Clippers didn't celebrate Christmas with families until yesterday after playing in Denver. "I take full responsibility... Tough situation being on road on Christmas... I hope everyone enjoyed their Christmas yesterday and that was the reason for a sluggish day."

As for the Mavs, Doncic just missed a triple-double, finishing with nine rebounds and eight assists. The team shot 49% from the field and made 14 threes.
The Clippers will try and erase this game from their memories as they host the Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday.
