Collin Sexton Showed the Brooklyn Nets Aren't Close to Contenders Yet
The Cleveland Cavaliers and Collin Sexton showed to the world in three nights that the Brooklyn Nets aren't anywhere close to where they need to be if they want to win a championship this season.
Sexton once again led the Cavs on Friday night dropping 25 points and nine dimes. Big man Andre Drummond chipped in with 19 points and 16 boards and the Cavs held on to a 125-113 victory, moving the team to 5th in the eastern conference.
As for the Nets, they were playing without Kevin Durant, and were led by 38 points from Kyrie Irving and James Harden had 19 points and 11 assists. Two nights ago the team lost to the Cavs in double OT, 147-135.
The Nets get right back at it on Saturday, which was basically the reason why KD wasn't playing.
Earlier in the day the Cavs traded Kevin Porter Jr to the Houston Rockets. The Nets will host Miami on Saturday.
