Huge Blow Dealt to the Portland Trailblazers
The best back-court in the NBA took a hit on Monday as it was reported Portland Trail Blazer CJ McCollum will be sidelined for a minimum of four weeks with a broken foot.
The Blazers shooting-guard will be re-evaluated in a month after a hairline fracture was found during some x-rays. At first it wasn't expected to be so serious but after some imaging was done, the injury was spotted. It's his left foot that McCollum has broken and he's also suffering from a mid-foot sprain as well according to team doctors.
The injury occurred late last week against the Atlanta Hawks, and the 29-year-old at first, thought it was just a sprain. McCollum is averaging 26.7 points, 5.0 assists and 1.3 steals through the first 13 games of the season and his absence is surely going to hurt the team.

Not only do the Blazers play nine of their next 12 games on the road, the team is already missing Jusuf Nurkic with a broken wrist, who's going to be out for eight weeks.
If you have Damian Lillard on your fantasy team....enjoy the next month and you may want to give Rodney Hood a look.
