Fultz was off to the best start of his young career, averaging career highs in points, assists, field goals made and free throws made. He was also one of our picks to be in the running for NBA's Most Improved Player this year, as he was set to break out this season.
Fultz reached out on social media to all of those wishing him well.
"Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers during this time. God has a plan for me and I know that this adversity will only make me stronger...I’m going to approach this recovery with all my heart and be the best teammate I can be"
