Thunder's George Hill Calls Out The NBA
The NBA announced they have implemented new social distancing protocols along with several other 'rules' to help everyone stay safe during the NBA season. Recently there's been COVID-19 running wild through several teams and the league had no choice but to crack down.
George Hill of the Oklahoma City Thunder thinks these new measures 'make no sense'.
Following the Thunder's loss to the Spurs on Tuesday night, here's what Hill had to say on the matter:
We wanna play the game ... but I don't understand some of the rules. We can sweat 48 minutes with a guy next to us for 48 minutes, but we can't talk to them afterwards. It makes no sense. I'm a grown man. I'm gonna do what I want to do. If I want to go see my family, I'm going to go see my family. They can't tell me I have to stay in a room 24/7. If it's that serious, then maybe we shouldn't be playing. But it's life; no one's going to be able to just cancel their whole life for this game
Expect to hear more outcry from the players as things are getting a little more strict around the NBA. When you have to postponed six games and several teams are playing with only eight players, you can't blame them!
