Video: Hawks' Young and Capela Put on a Show vs the Pistons
The Atlanta Hawks took on the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday night and it was one of the most entertaining games of the season and a big part of that belongs to Trae Young and Clint Capela of the Hawks. Both players were in pure beast mode from the tip and finished the game with some impressive numbers.
Young ended up scoring 38 points and Capela finished the night with a 27 point-26 rebound-5 block performance as the Hawks got by the Pistons 123-115 in overtime.

Add in John Collins' 31 points and the Hawks showed they have the skill to be successful in the eastern conference. The team moved to 7-7 on the year, meanwhile the Pistons are bad, sitting at 3-11. Jerami Grant is becoming a star for the Pistons as his career-high 32 points were not enough.

Capela posted Atlanta's first game with at least 25 points and 25 rebounds since Dikembe Mutombo's 27 points and 29 rebounds against Minnesota on Dec. 14, 1999. ... Capela had 15 rebounds in the first half. The last Atlanta player with 15 rebounds in a half was Dwight Howard against Washington on Oct. 27, 2016. ... Young had only six points in the first half after making only one of five free throws. He made 13 of 19 overall
