VIDEO: James Harden has had Enough in Houston
James Harden didn't mince words following the LA Lakers 117-110 defeat of the Houston Rockets this evening. Harden briefly spoke about his situation during his post-game press conference before walking off stage - see below.
"I love this city. I've literally done everything I can. This situation is crazy. It’s something I don’t think can be fixed. Thanks."

Harden looks to have put on a few additional pounds and hasn't exactly played inspiring basketball, especially on the defensive end (although that is nothing new). Even John Wall has spoken about the Rockets situation, and doesn't seem impressed.
How would John Wall assess his partnership with James Harden thus far?

"It's been a little rocky, not going to lie about that. I don't think it's been the best it could be. That's all I can say."
Those are interesting words from the newly acquired Wall. For a player that is looking to rebound from nearly two lost seasons, is it possible that Wall feels Harden is quitting on the team? Wall has been busting his ass all year and has motivation to get back to All-Star form once again. Perhaps he knows Harden is tanking - there is reasonable evidence to support that thought. Check out the splits from Harden's season thus far:
- First 3 games: 37.0 ppg, 5.3 rpg, 11.0 apg, 52.4% FG
- Last 5 games: 17.4 ppg, 5.0 rpg, 10.0 apg, 37.8% FG
James Harden's aware that the Rockets are continuing to discuss trade scenarios with teams, although no deal is imminent, sources tell ESPN. Houston's asking price remains steep, as you'd expect it would for a player of Harden's caliber. https://t.co/I4RuHgzcvU

Is Harden trying to force the Rockets' to deal him as quickly as possible? If so, Houston will receive far less value than they should for a player with Harden's resume (shades of the Vince Carter trade spring to mind). Do the Rockets hold on to Harden until they get the right deal? Or do they get rid of his as quickly as possible in order to save organization chemistry and capitalize on Wall's resurgence?
An interesting situation only got more complicated tonight.
