Video: LeBron James Confirms He's Not Playing Until He's 46
LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers is the perfect family man and someone millions of people around the world look up to for his talents on the basketball court. He also knows one motto in life can be an absolute life-saver - 'Happy Wife, Happy Life'.
James was recently asked how long he thought he would play for and the question was asked if he will play in the NBA until he's 46. Here's LBJ's response:
I continue to put myself in the best condition I can be in. I train my body and I train my mind every single day. I come into the arena or the facility and I get in a lot of extra work - prepare my body, prepare my mind. And hopefully, I can continue to do what I'm doing right now at 36 and see what happens. But I tell you, I don't think I can go to 46. We can go from 26 to 36, but I don't think I can go to 46, and I also don't think my wife would like that.
While we all don't expect James to play another decade, look for him to play roughly another five seasons. His eldest child, 'Bronny' LeBron James Jr is expected to be an NBA talent and could be in the league in roughly 3-4 years. Playing against or alongside his son is something James would love to share with his family.
