Video: Portland's Jusuf Nurkic Breaks His Wrist
The Portland Trail Blazers were taking on the Indiana Pacers and during the third quarter, on what looked like an innocent player, the Blazers were chewed up by the injury bug. Center Jusuf Nurkic swiped at the ball as the Pacers' guard was driving the lane and wouldn't you know it, he broke his wrist on his shooting hand.
The Blazers starting center is averaging 10.3 points and 7.6 boards per game and having Nurkic out will certainly hurt the team. The 26-year-old Bosnian was out for almost 18 months after breaking his leg in March 2019. Look for Enes Kanter to play more minutes in Nurkic's absence.Here's the weird play:
