Blake Griffin Agrees To Sit As Pistons Moving Expensive Forward
The Detroit Pistons have told Blake Griffin, don't expect to play anytime soon. The team is listening to a number of trade offers and considering their buyout options and don't want Griffin in their lineup while decisions are being made.
Late last week we reported the Pistons are willing to package a young player or draft pick with Griffin to get him off their books and so far no team's have pulled the trigger. Griffin is due a $38.9 million player-option next season.

So far this season, Griffin has appeared in 20 games and is averaging 12.3 points, 5.2 rebounds and 3.9 assists. He also hasn't dunked the basketball since 2019.
Expect to see Griffin bought out or moved by Friday of this week.

Any contract can be moved but this one is the most challenging in the NBA.
