Christian Wood Looking at Lengthy Absence
One of the top candidates for NBA Most Improved Player, Christian Wood, is set to go for an MRI on his injured right ankle. Wood rolled his right ankle in Thursday's game against the Memphis Grizzlies - the same ankle that caused him to miss three games a little over one week ago. Check out the injury below.
The Rockets are concerned that star center Christian Wood could be sidelined for an extended period after injuring his right ankle for the second time in a span of less than three weeks, sources told ESPN.

“It didn’t look great," coach Stephen Silas said. "It was unfortunate.”
Wood was enjoying a breakout season in the NBA, averaging 22.0 ppg on 55.8 FG%, 10.2 rpg & 1.5 bpg. There has even been some All-Star chatter for the journeyman big man who has found a home in Houston.
