Clippers and Pistons Talking Big Trade
The Detroit Pistons have made it known league wide that Derrick Rose will be moved and the Los Angeles Clippers are certainly interested.
The deal would involve Rose heading to the Clips for Lou Williams and Mfiondu Kabengele. The Clippers also own a bunch of the Pistons 2nd-round picks due to the acquisition of Luke Kennard, so it's likely we could see some of those going back to Motown.
The 34-year-old Williams is one of the best scoring options off the bench in NBA history and this year has certainly been an up and down season. 'Lemon Pepper Lou' is averaging 9.8 points, 2.0 boards and 3.2 assists per game this season so far in 22 appearances.
As for Rose, the oft-injured guard has been in and out of the lineup with a slew of different reasons. The 32-year-old would be a scoring upgrade on Williams as Rose is averaging 14.2 points per game and 4.2 assists.
Keep an eye on Rose as he's heading elsewhere soon. Will it be New York? Will it be LA? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
