Dallas Mavericks To Begin Playing Pre-Game National Anthems
The battle between Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban and the NBA continues, after the Mavericks decided they were not going to play national anthems before their games.
And while the argument could certainly be made for not playing the anthems considering where all the player's roots are from, the league is essentially saying it's always been that way, so deal with it.
Cuban confirmed on Monday to Tim Cato of The Athletic his franchise wouldn't be playing any anthems. Not known to many but the team actually hasn't played on anthem all season up to this point.
That may be changing after the NBA just released this statement:
