DeMarcus Cousins Headed For Boston!?

The Houston Rockets are waiving big-man DeMarcus Cousins and the 30-year-old will be free to sign with anytime of his choice. If you ask one NBA Agent where Cousins is headed, the word from around the 'Agent World' appears to be to the Boston Celtics.

Asked an NBA agent where he thinks DeMarcus Cousins might go. Replied “Boston” within seconds.

So far in 25 appearances this season the former 5th overall pick of the Sacramento Kings has put up some decent numbers as he continues his comeback from major injuries. Cousins is averaging 9.6 points, 7.6 rebounds, 2.4 assists and is shooting 34% from deep.  

The Celtics have been linked to acquiring Al Horford as well from the Oklahoma City Thunder and make no mistake they are trying their best to land multiple bigs to upgrade their depth up front.

As for Cousins, he was apparently pissed off to play second fiddle in Houston and was not happy with his minutes. DeMarcus Cousins not happy.....who knew.

Along with the Celtics, you can add both Los Angeles teams, the Miami Heat and the Toronto Raptors as teams that will heavily pursue Cousins once he's officially released.
