Huge Blow Dealt to the Cleveland Cavaliers
The Cleveland Cavaliers have announced they will be without forward Larry Nance Jr for a minimum of six weeks after the big man suffered a broke finger during Saturday's loss to the Milwaukee Bucks.
The 28-year-old will undergo surgery on his left hand to have his fourth metacarpal worked on to fix the fracture. So far this season Nance is averaging 9.3 points, 6.8 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.9 steals in the 19 games he's appeared in. Needless to say Nance is a bit of a stat sheet filler and the Cavs will now have to turn over to more Andre Drummond, Taurean Prince and Jarrett Allen to replace Nance's production.
The Cavs sit a surprising 10-14 on the season which is currently a playoff spot in the eastern conference. Unfortunately the team is falling of late and having Nance out of the lineup will be a major blow to the squad.
