Ryan Saunders is Out in Minnesota
Chris Finch is becoming the new Timberwolves head coach on a full-time basis, not as an interim, sources said. The Timberwolves fired Ryan Saunders tonight after loss to the Knicks in New York. https://t.co/HFVdycuEUv

Minnesota has gone through a tough year, as they've been without their franchise player Karl-Anthony Towns for large portions. D'Angelo Russell is out 4-6 weeks with a knee injury. 1st overall pick Anthony Edwards had a slow start to the year, but has been picking it up lately. Even his recent improvements haven't been enough to turn the Timberwolves around. Perhaps the new hire will be able to give Minnesota hope moving forward.
