T-Wolves' Jarrett Culver Perfect Trade Candidate
According to Jonathan Wasserman of the Bleacher Report, he sees Minnesota Timberwolves SG/SF Jarrett Culver as the perfect trade target as we approach the NBA's trade deadline.
In 16 games this season, Culver is averaging 8.1 points, 5.0 rebounds and is shooting 46% from the field. The 21-year-old shooting guard has averaged 9.0 points per game so far throughout his 79 game NBA career. Culver was selected 6th overall by the Phoenix Suns out of Texas Tech at the 2019 NBA draft.
Wasserman adds via his report:
Though Minnesota could use Culver's defense, it's clearly not a difference-maker for the 7-21 Timberwolves. They need to make some personnel changes, whether that means shopping for veterans or shooters, and despite Culver's unconvincing start, there should still be enough interest around the league in the 21-year-old.
The Timberwolves are deep at the 2/3 so Culver is certainly a contender to be moved and as Wasserman points out, there's certainly going to be interest in his services.
