Trade Rumors Heating Up Around the Atlanta Hawks
The Atlanta Hawks are currently tied for 6th in the eastern conference and from all accounts want to make some tweaks to their roster. Multiple reports have surfaced the team is willing to move forward John Collins and have been fielding calls from other teams.
Collins is still only 23-years-old and was surprisingly not given a rookie-scale contract extension and will become a restricted free-agent after this season.

So far this season in 24 games, Collins is averaging 18.5 points per game, 7.8 rebounds and 1.6 assists to go along with shooting 40.7% from three and 55.9% from the field.
The Hawks selected Collins 19th overall in 2017 and while he's having a bit of a down year compared to last season where he averaged 21.6 points and 10.1 rebounds, it's a bit of a head-scratcher the team is willing to move on from him already.
There were reports about Collins calling out Trae Young during a video session, but both parties have confirmed it was nothing and they moved on.
