Trade Rumors Heating Up Around New York Knicks
The New York Knicks have been one of the first-half surprises this NBA season and the team has already begun to make roster upgrades as they look to make the playoffs out of the eastern conference. The team added point-guard Derrick Rose, but in turn, this sent guard Austin Rivers out of the rotation.
Turns out Rivers has found himself within some trade rumors of late as team's have called about his availability.
The 28-year-old versatile guard has appeared in 21 games so far this season and is averaging 7.3 points, 2.2 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game, while shooting 43% from the field and 37% from deep.
The Duke product and son of Philadelphia 76ers head coach Doc Rivers, has been trying to remain positive even though he knew this was coming when the team acquired Rose. Rivers had this to say about what's going on in New York:

At this point it's unlikely Rivers is moved as with Rose's injury troubles, it's no guarantee he'll be available every night.
