Trade Talk: Kevin Love to the Boston Celtics
The Boston Celtics and the Cleveland Cavaliers are two eastern conference teams heading in opposite directions. The Celtics sit at 12-9 and only three games back of the conference lead, meanwhile the Cavs are 10-13 and have surprised some with their early success this season.
Keep an eye on these two teams as there's been a ton of speculation about a big trade coming, with some familiar names involved.
Celtics general manager Danny Ainge has made it known he's looking for a big man who can rebound and provide some secondary scoring, and even at 32-years-old and a bit banged up, Love if healthy, can be exactly what the doctor ordered for the Celtics.
The Celtics would use there massive trade exception to help facilitate the deal and would only have to give up minimal other pieces to take Love and his contract that sees him paid roughly $30 million for the next two seasons.
Do you think Love is a fit in Boston? Vince Carter sure thinks so.
"Something. I think a Kevin Love could help them. He would bring a lot to the table" - @mrvincecarter15 #NBA #NBATwitter #TheJump #BleedGreen https://t.co/fBgTnCFJv7
