Vanessa Bryant Slams Meek Mill Over Kobe Lyric
Rapper Meek Mill decided he was going to reference Kobe Bryant in one of his latest songs and let's just say maybe he should have reconsidered. Vanessa Bryant didn't hold back as she took to Instagram on Monday to share her feelings towards the song.
The leaked track 'Don't Worry' has certainly stirred up some controversy as the Kobe reference caught everyone in the game by surprise.
Here's the lyric from Mill:
This b**ch I'm f**kin' always tell me that she love me, but she ain't ever showed me / Yeah, and if I ever lack, I'm goin' out with my chopper, it be another Kobe.
Vanessa Bryant, as expected, was not having any of it and had this to say to the Philadelphia based rapper:
Dear @meekmill, I find this line to be extremely insensitive and disrespectful. Period. I am not familiar with any of your music, but I believe you can do better than this. If you are a fan, fine, there's a better way to show your admiration for my husband. This lacks respect and tact.
Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna died, along with six other passengers and the pilot in a tragic helicopter crash in January of 2020.
Meek Mill, be better.

I apologized to her in private earlier today not to the public...Nothing I say on my page directed to a internet viral moment or the family of a grieving woman! If you care about someone grieving change the subject!
