76ers Joel Embiid Says He's Owned Pacers' Myles Turner Since Day One

Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid is one of the best quotes in the league and on Monday night the big-man did not disappoint.

The 76ers defeated the Indiana Pacers as Embiid led the charge with 24 points, 13 rebounds and a whole bunch of smack talk after the game directed at Pacers center Myles Turner.

I say this respectfully, but that's a matchup that I've dominated since I got to the league. Great defender, (Turner) leads the league in blocks, he should be up there when it comes to Defensive Player of the Year, (but) that's also one of my goals. ... You've got to take advantage of those matchups, especially if I have my eye set on being the Defensive Player of the Year.

Embiid seems to have a point as Turner has only averaged 8.5 points and 5.2 rebounds against Philly, meanwhile the 76ers center has put up 28.4 points and 12.6 boards against the Pacers.
