Boston Celtics Send Trade Offer to the Detroit Pistons
The Boston Celtics continue to work trade calls as we approach the March 25th trade deadline and it appears their #1 target is Detroit Piston, Jerami Grant.
The Celtics have reportedly offered the Pistons multiple first-round picks in exchange for Grant, who signed in Detroit after a solid performance to end last season. The Pistons sit dead last in the eastern conference and have already let Blake Griffin go. We'll be curious to see if they now get rid of their best player and totally rebuild from the ground up.
The Celtics can afford Grant's contract based on their trade exception of roughly $28 million from Gordon Hayward heading to Charlotte.
So far this season the 26-year-old Grant is having a monster season, averaging 23.4 points, 5.3 boards and 2.9 assists per game. His best season before this one was back two years ago when he averaged 13.6 points per game.

While the Celtics are going to do whatever they can to land Grant, at this point it doesn't appear likely the Pistons are interested having their best player leave Motown.

Well, in my twenties, I was interested in Halle Berry. I'll just leave it at that. #AintHappening
