Clippers Working On Lonzo Ball Trade with Pelicans
According to several reports the Los Angeles Clippers are working hard to trade for New Orleans Pelicans guard Lonzo Ball.
Insider Scoop B noted a couple of months ago how the Clippers were interested in Ball and has been tracking this deal long before most sources shared their information.

The Clippers don't have a tradeable first-round pick, and it appears the only option to offer would be a 2027 trade swap. There's no doubt if this deal goes down it will include a third team to facilitate the deal.
As for Ball, he's been on the trade radar most of the season and the Pelicans are certainly gauging interest levels across the league. Keeping him is something the team hasn't ruled out as he could easily continue to develop and become a huge piece for their young ball club. Ball is averaging a career best 14.2 points per game along with 4.2 rebounds and 5.6 assists.
The Clippers are in the market for a playmaker as the team ranks towards the bottom of the league is passes made. If it's not Ball, expect to see someone with court vision heading to the Clippers before March 25th.
