Williams was long rumored to be on his way out and now gets to head home to Atlanta. So far this season the scoring machine has averaged 12.1 points per game and it always felt like he would get dealt before the deadline after all the controversy last season in the playoffs and in the offseason surrounding the chemistry of the team.
In Rondo, the Clippers receive one of the best floor generals in the game and one of the only 'true' point-guards left in the league. Rondo has championship pedigree and his leadership qualities will go a long way helping the Clips get over the hump this season. He's averaging 3.9 points and 3.5 assists per game in limited minutes and can still be good for a 15 assist night with more floor time.

Rondo’s move to Clippers fortifies a need a point guard & likely signals they are out of the Kyle Lowry sweepstakes as are the Philadelphia 76ers who got George Hill.
