Durant was sure to have his fellow Big 3 members Kyrie Irving and James Harden on his team. Could you image the media backlash if James had chosen either one of those players before Durant?
LeBron had the number one pick overall and rumor has it that he chose the Greek Freak as his top guy.

This year's All-Star Game will have a different feel for a number of reasons - most of them COVID-19 related. The All-Star Game festivities will all take place on Sunday with the Skills Challenge, followed by the 3-point Contest. The game will start after that, and at half-time the Slam Dunk Contest will take place. However, one interesting and positive change will have to do with the design of the court - the NBA has designed it to honor Historically Black Colleges and Universities.

On top of that, all three officials for the game are HBCU alumni.

The NBA, and especially Commissioner Adam Silver, have taken a lot of heat for staging the All-Star Game. There will be a lot of pressure on the league to produce not only a COVID-19 free weekend, but the typically entertaining All-Star weekend events.
